We are hiring a Spiritual Life Coach for our growing team! The role of the Spiritual Life Coach is a vital component in the holistic treatment model. A Spiritual Life Coach is responsible for monitoring the safety and well-being of persons served/clients. A Spiritual Life Coach, with a holistic perspective, serves clients and other staff by teaching basic discipline materials. Responsible for leading and initiating prayer, providing and coordinating one-on-one and group teaching sessions. As well as, helping resolve the questions of new believers. A Spiritual Life Coach also bridges the gap between the client and the spiritual resources in their community. As well as, ensure compliance of all HIPPA laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold one-on-one sessions and group teaching sessions with clients to teach spiritual formation.
  • The Spiritual Life Coach should have an initial one-on-one meeting with a client within their first 3 days of entering the facility.
  • Track spiritual decisions including salvations and baptisms.
  • Ensure clients receive one contract of the Master Studies Curriculum for each residential phase the clients complete and review progress weekly.
  • Coordinate with external resources (local ministers, evangelists, churches, or other spiritual leaders) to teach in-house meetings.
  • Hold group sessions with clients to guide them in the Master Studies Curriculum or teach them spiritual formation through a holistic approach.
  • Pray with clients and staff members as requested.
  • Connect clients with spiritual resources in their community upon discharge. If possible, help them find a home church that is welcoming.
  • Implement a certificate program for clients to receive training in specific areas including but not limited to: Godly Parenting, Anger Management, Leadership, etc.
  • Attend or send reports to all treatment team meetings.
  • Attend family visit day once per month to offer support per the director's request.
  • Understanding and having limited mastery of basic Pastoral Care.
  • Attend required trainings

Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • Valid Driver's License 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Two Years of Ministry Experience Preferred
